Ta-pian Fish Bag
Ta-pian Fish Bag
Ta-pian otherwise known as the "silver barb" or "Java barb" is a freshwater fish that is native to Southeast Asia. It's commonly found in the waters across Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
This unique bag is crafted from natural latex rubber, sustainably sourced from the sap of the Hevea Brasiliensis tree found throughout the rainforests of Southeast Asia. It takes approximately 5-7 years to harvest the sap used to make the rubber from this type of tree. This material is sustainably sourced and biodegradable.
The bag is flexible, water-resistant, and durable with amble space for personal items. It has a lined compartment with a silky feel, a strong zipper, and carry cord.
Each bag is handmade by skilled crafts people using traditional methods. As a result, every piece has a distinctive and unique appearance.
